    - Produced “American Planning ABC”, an introductory book to American urban planning in Chinese language, and “APA China Projects Collection”, a summary of selected APA demonstration projects in China with insights of planning discussions and experimental practices;

    - Founded "Chinese Young Planners Network" as a professional advancement platform for Chinese young planners in the U.S.

    MAJOR PROJECTS

    1. "US-China Eco City Policy Study (ongoing)": provided planning and management advices as planning expert in the ‘Central Working Group’ for four quantifiable eco city demonstration in China. Project was funded by US Dept of Energy, China’s Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and Brookhaven National Lab as a critical component of “US-China Ten Year Framework (TYF)”.

    2. "Jintang Water Management Recommendation Plan": introduced “multi-level green infrastructure management plan” to Chinese cities for the first time, aiming to combat non-point source water pollution.

    3. "Shuozhou Strategic Development Research": helped “low-carbonize an energy town” by adopting a sustainable development strategy while maintaining its high energy output.

    4. "Nanjing Golden Ox New Town Master Plan": created a tourism modal of “recreational region” within the 166km2 jurisdiction.

    5. "Nanjing Qilin Eco-Science Park Conceptual Plan": invented the concept of “5-D planning” to integrate cultural timeline into physical planning.

    6. "Nanjing Liuhe Economic Development Strategic Plan"&rdquo: provided a repairing solution for transition from a heavily polluted blue collar industrial base to “healthy city”.

    7. "Jiangsu Yancheng Strategic Development Plan": attempted to balance economic development and conservation of Asia’s biggest coastal wetland with “carbon offset balance strategy”.
